If you have uploaded datafiles to Dropbox from
iData Pro on the Mac or from iData Mobile Plus on an iPhone or
iPad, you can transfer those datafiles to another Mac.
This function requires iData Pro 4.0.44, or later.
Here's how to do it:
1. If the datafile is open in iData Pro, close
it.
2. In iData Pro, select
Download Datafile
From Dropbox... in the
File menu.
NOTE:
The first time you do this, the Dropbox sign-in page will open
in your Internet browser, and you will be asked to sign in to
Dropbox. Then the following dialog will come up:
Click the
Allow
button and the following dialog will come up:
Click the
Allow
button in this dialog and iData Pro will come back to the front.
3. After a few seconds, you will see a list of
the datafiles in Dropbox.
4. Select a datafile to download, and click the
Download button.
5. If the datafile that you have selected
already exists in your Datafiles folder, you will see the
following alert:
Normally, you should click
the
Cancel button. If you need to have both versions of
the datafile, you can go to the Finder, rename the existing
version of the datafile, then go back to iData Pro and click the
Replace
button.
6. Once the datafile has been downloaded to the
Mac, it will open.
7. You may transfer as many datafiles as you
wish. When you are finished, click the
Done button to
close the window.
