To deactivate all of the links in a block of selected text, choose Remove Links in Selected Text in the Tools menu, or type control-command-r.

Note: Any hidden links that are removed by this method cannot be recovered, so use caution when applying this function.
However, as long as the Automatically enable recognizable links option in Datafile Settings is not turned off, going to a new record will automatically reactivate any identifiable links in the Freeform Text Area of that record (e.g., http://www.idatapartners.com or Sales@idatapartners.com.), but will not activate hidden links that were removed using this function.
